How much does it cost?

Our fee is 35% of the proposed taxes saved annually. We have a separate administrative fee that is recurring annually prior to protest of $150. Should the results from the hearing process result in taxable savings with an invoice higher than the annual fee, the client will be invoiced the difference (ex. $350 invoice from hearings – $150 initial signup fee = total due $200).

How do I sign up?

Simply click the Sign-Up button on the top right hand side of our website. The entire sign-up process takes about 3 minutes!

When can I expect to know the outcome of a hearing?

We will notify you via email with your itemized breakdown of each property’s savings. Hearings typically take place from July-September.

Some important dates to know:

  • January 31 Deadline to pay your tax bill
  • April 30 Deadline to file Homestead Exemption
  • May 15 Deadline to file for most property tax protests

Do I have to sign up for representation every year?

No. Our service agreement is continuous. We will continue to represent you every year until you tell us to stop. You only pay a fee in the years in which a taxable savings occur. You may cancel the agreement at any time in writing before the hearing. Cancellations by email should be sent to info@platinumpropertytax.com.
